Training Description
Join Healthcare-Edu for a live Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Seminar designed for nurses, CNAs, HHAs, home care workers, assisted living staff, long-term care staff, adult day program staff, and healthcare professionals who care for individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease or dementia. This seminar is taught by Nurse Stephanie Victoria, RN, MSN, CADDCT, a Certified Alzheimer’s Disease and Dementia Care Trainer through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. Participants will learn practical dementia-care concepts that support safer, more compassionate, and more confident care. Topics include understanding Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, communication strategies, behavior management, safety concerns, caregiver stress, and person-centered approaches to care. Successful completion of this seminar qualifies eligible participants to apply for the Certified Dementia Practitioner credential through NCCDP.
