Nursing Assistant Training: Learn the essential skills and knowledge required to prepare for the certified nursing assistant state exam in Massachusetts. Gain expertise in providing direct patient care, assisting with daily activities, and promoting overall patient well-being.

Home Health Aide: Equip yourself with the skills to provide compassionate and personalized care to individuals in their own homes. Learn how to assist with activities of daily living, provide emotional support, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

Medication Administration Program (MAP): This Training program prepares you for the Massachusetts MAP state exam. Passing the state exam will enable you to administer medication safely in group home environments across Massachusetts, further expanding your employment prospects. Students gain access to the state's proprietary course on the 1st or 3rd Thursday of the month depending on when they enroll. The MAPmass.com online component*** gives you six months from the first day of access. Time-lapsed students will be re-entered into a new electronic course at zero percent completion, losing any work they may have completed.
***The Massachusetts approved online course for MAP is called "Responsibilities in Action Massachusetts MAP Certification Training". This course is offered online via MapMass, and must be completed in order to complete the MAP course. ***

You will receive these things upon successful enrollment;
1. Enrollment Agreement & School Policy
2. Online Component - Course Access
3. Student ID number (9 digits long)

Log into class using your email. Work on it at your own schedule and pace.
5th
Attend your scheduled 4 Lab Days.
On your 4th lab day, you will have a practical assessment graded by your professor.
Students who are marked successful and have completed their Online Component may pick clinical dates.
**Please Note, As of May 1st, 2025; All Nursing Asst. Students must pay a $25 fee for a CORI Check in order to be eligible for clinical.
6th
Attend your scheduled 2 Clinical Days.
Students who are marked successful by their instructor will receive an email which will allow them to register for graduation.
7th
Attend your scheduled Graduation. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
On Graduation Day all your Home Health Aide Certificate of Completion and your Nursing Assistant Training (NAT) Certificate of Completion. The NAT will allow you to sit for the Massachusetts Certified Nursing Assistant exams.
Virtual certificates of completion will be sent via email and physical Certificates of Completion will be given to the student on the day of graduation.
MAP - There is no Certificate of Completion for this portion of the program. Students are awarded a license number once they pass both parts of the MAP state exam.

Can I work while I complete this course?
Yes, you can work while taking class. You can complete each component at your own schedule and pace.

How many in-person days are required?
Students select a lab session which is comprised of 4 in-person days. Visit Lab Sessions page.
On the last lab day students will select their 2 in-person clinical days.
That is a total of 6 in-person days

How long will it take me to complete the course?
Most students complete the course in about 10 weeks. We do not have a time limit and our course does not expire.

Do I need a COVID vaccine?
At this time our 3rd party clinical Long Term Care Facilities are requiring that students have at least 1 COVID vaccination.
Students also require TB Screening documentation.
Students are required to complete a CORI form and submit a $25 fee to process the form.

Does the course prepare me to pass the state exam?
Our Nursing Assistant courses prepares you to sit for the MA CNA state exam.

How accessible is the course?
The course can be opened on any device that can open an email.
Students can complete the online course on their phones.

Q. What is the Medication Administration Program Certificate?
The MAP certificate allows people to administer medications in a group home setting.

Q. How do I access the online portion of my course?
The MAP course is hosted by the State of Massachusetts and they only process enrollments every 1st and 3rd thursday of each month.
Q. How Do I Start?
All students need to do to enroll is to purchase the course or use our payment plan options to make their first payment.

Q. How much does this course cost?
The MAP course costs $600 and this price includes all study materials. Payment plans are available for all our courses
Q. How long does it take to complete this course?

For our Online course you can expect 20 hours of online work. The MAP course is hosted by the State and they only process enrollments every 1st and 3rd thursday of each month.

Then come in for 2 in-person days.

Q. After I get certified, can I administer meds right away? Can I apply for work right away?
They can administer meds once they have passed all necessary exams and have received their MAP License Number. That number is provided to them via email by TMU, the State Testing organization for Massachusetts.

Is there a fee for MAP state exam? Does Healthcare-edu cover State Exam Fees?
Healthcare-Edu does not cover any State Exam Fee for any of our courses. The MAP Exam breaks down into 2 fees for $155. $55 for the knowledge exam (Multiple Choice) and $100 for the Med Admin Test Site Exam(Practical). For the practical exam, Students must schedule that with Stephanie directly, because of this anyone who is ready for the practical must be forwarded to contact@healthcare-edu.com in order to get them scheduled.
